I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus. My work lies at the intersection of quantum information theory, quantum probability, operator theory, and their engineering applications, where I focus on the underlying mathematical frameworks of quantum systems.
Prior to joining BITS Pilani, I completed two postdoctoral fellowships: one at the Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi, and a Fulbright-Nehru fellowship at the Department of Mathematics at the University of South Carolina. Following my postdoctoral training, I joined the University of Arizona as a Research Scientist, holding an appointment first with the Wyant College of Optical Sciences and subsequently with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Alongside my research in Arizona, I was deeply involved in workforce development for the NSF Center for Quantum Networks (CQN), serving as its Technical Lead. I contributed to the CQN's educational mission by teaching at its Winter Schools (2024, 2025) and mentoring for its Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program. Separately, I also mentored a student through the University of Arizona's Quantum Que program in the summer of 2025.
In addition to my research and teaching, I serve the academic community as an editor for the journal Complex Analysis and Operator Theory and as a peer reviewer for several other scientific journals.
